The remediation of the on-site portion of the Rockaway Park former MGP site was completed in 2012. A portion of the site is being used as a support area for gas operation activities and is restricted to authorized personnel. The site is located immediately south of Beach Channel Drive and north of the Rockaway Freeway, between Beach 108th Street to the east and Rockaway Freeway to the west in Rockaway, Queens.
